Rail Track at Idalgasinna Cleared

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) as in past instances cleared earth mounds that had fallen on the railway tracks near Idalgasinna railway station on Wednesday (06 Dec) due to torrential rainfalls in the area.

The upcountry railway operation line running from Colombo to Badulla was disrupted as a result of this blockage. Troops during morning hours cleared earth mounds and facilitated the resumption of railway services.
