The Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) celebrated its 72 Anniversary on Tuesday (28 November 2023) at the Regimental HQ premises with several military formalities.
Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces - Central and Colonel Commandant SLAGSC on arrival at the premises was at first greeted in a Guard Turnout and subsequently in a Guard of Honour at the parade ground.
Afterwards, he addressed the troops, joined an All Rank lunch and joined the cricket match that got underway in the ground, the same afternoon. As the final leg of the day’s programme, SLAGSC troops as dusk fell joined a musical entertainment.
