Kathiraveli Students Educated on Dangerous Consequences of Illegal Drugs

The 23 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ – East (SFHQ-E) arranged an awareness programme on ‘Dangerous Consequences of Use of Illegal Drugs’ for students and staff of the Vigneshwaram School in Kathiraveli on Tuesday (21 Nov).

Accordingly, 300 students and 15 teachers in the school with minor staff participated in the valuable programme which was conducted by Mr P Thinesh, Main Coordinator of the Batticaloa National Dangerous Drugs Control Board.

The Commanding Officer of 7 Gemunu Watch supervised the arrangements under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces – East and the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division.
