SLMA's Researchers Receive Inputs from West Commander

In an attempt to further enrich research findings for their final presentation before their commissioning shortly, a group of Senior Officer Cadets, belonging to Intake 92, 92 B, SC 20 at Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA), Diyatalawa had an interactive interview with the Commander, Security Forces - West, Major General W.H.K.S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu at the Security Force Headquarters - West premises in Panagoda on Tuesday (21 November 2023).

The intention of this meet was to collect first-hand data and valid information for preparation of their forthcoming research theme, 'Enhancing United Nations Peace-Keeping Capabilities of Sri Lanka Army', which will be submitted on the day, prior to the Commissioning Parade in December 2023 as the Officer Cadets’ final research presentation.

Commander, Security Forces-West provided the research team with deep insights, inputs and broader perspectives, related to the said topic and new scopes for the research. He also extended best wishes to their academic efforts and highlighted the importance of such presentations for their career prospects.

Brigadier General Staff Brigadier K.T.P De Silva RSP ndu psc, Brigadier Admin Quartering Brigadier A.M.R Abeysinghe, Senior Instructor and one Course Officer of the SLMA were present assisting the researchers for their academic work.
