Joint Military Exercise ' Mitra Shakthi' Readying for Final Exercise

The 9th Edition of the Joint Military Exercise ' Mitra Shakti-2023' formally commenced on Thursday (16 Nov) in Aundh, Pune, India, joined by 120 troops of the Indian Army, 123 troops of the Sri Lanka Army, 15 troops of the Indian Air Force and 05 troops from the Sri Lanka Air Force.

As at present, both contingents are undergoing daily training sessions covering morning physical training/yoga, battle obstacle clearing, unarmed combats, slithering / rappelling, house clearing drills, model discussions and lectures for their final round of the Exercise.

Their final main Exercise ' Aman Ranasuraya’ will take place on 28 November as a Command Post Exercise (CPX) with the participation of both contingents.
