Workshop for COs and 2 ICs held at SFHQ - E

The Security Force Headquarters -East (SFHQ-E) organized a 2 day workshop for Commanding Officers (CO), Second in Command (2 IC) and Staff Officers serving in the SFHQ - E during 2 - 3 November 2023 at the SFHQ-E.

The workshop focused on Military Support to Civil Administration, Administration and Logistic in the Sri Lanka Army.

Commanding Officers’ responsibilities and Man Management, Social disputes/ Drug abuse and General counselling for soldiers and Welfare measures available in the Sri Lanka Army for the soldiers. The workshop culminated with the Diners Club oration on ‘Military support to Sri Lanka Police and Law Enforcement’. The guest lecture of the Dinners' Club was delivered by the Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Dr. Ajith Rohana.

Major General M. K. U. P Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, Commander Security Forces - East gave away the much-needed guidance to succeed in the event.

The Training programme was supervised by Major General W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, General Officers Commanding, 24 Infantry Division. Nearly 50 Commanding Officers, Second in Commands and Staff Officers participated for the workshop.
