With the intention of providing relief services to the flood victims of affected areas in Matara, the Army troops of the 61 Infantry Division engaged in another humanitarian relief assistance by providing transport facilities on Wednesday (24 October).
Accordingly, as per the directions of Major General R.A.J.N Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 61 Infantry Division, Army troops of the 613 Infantry Brigade facilitated the shifting of families affected by ravaging flood waters. Troops went to their doorsteps and inquired about their needs.
