The Army Directorate of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with Technomedics International (Pvt) Ltd, a leading provider of medical equipment and solutions in Sri Lanka, organized a one-day workshop for Biomedical Engineering Officers and technicians on Wednesday (October 18) at the company's auditorium.
It was attended by 8 Officers and 18 Other Ranks in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
The primary objective of the workshop was to impart comprehensive knowledge and skills on the usage of a wide range of biomedical equipment commonly used, including Ultrasound scanners, Syringe pumps and infusion pumps, Diathermy machines, Blood gas machines, Ex ECG machines, Laparoscope and endoscope, etc.
The workshop was meticulously designed and delivered by experienced and qualified professionals from Technomedics. Participants were given valuable insights into the operation and maintenance of these critical medical devices. Additionally, they were provided with opportunities to ask questions and clarify any doubts they may have had.
