Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc of the Sri Lanka Engineers assumed office as the new Director General Financial Management Branch of the Army on Thursday (12 October) at the Army Headquarters.
He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature for an official document, amidst the chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ by members of the Maha Sangha in the presence of Staff Officers of the Branch.
He succeeds Major General W.B.S.M Abeysekera RSP VSV USP of the Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment who just retired from the Army.
