Gunners Salute Their Newly-Promoted Major Generals

Two newly-promoted Senior Officers, Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc and Major General D.P Welagedara RSP USP psc IG, were felicitated on Wednesday (4 October) at the 4th Field Regiment grounds at the Army Cantonment in Panagoda.

The event began with separate Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour salutes held in honour of both Senior Officers. Group photographs and an All Rank tea brought the day’s event to an end.

The Colonel Commandant, all Officers and Other Ranks at the Gunners’ family extended their best wishes to the newly promoted Major Generals.
