12 Sri Lanka National Guard (12 SLNG) troops of the 232 Infantry Brigade under the 23 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ - East organized a seminar for students, ready to sit the forthcoming Grade 5 scholarship examination. It was held during 07 - 08 October 2023 under the guidance of Major General K.V.N.P Premarathne RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division at Thihiliweddi Government Tamil Mixed School and Eralakkulam Government's Tamil Mixed School at Kalkudah.
Mrs A. Kanagarathnem and Mrs M Arulendarm of the zonal education office of Kalkudah conducted the sessions. A total of 119 students studying in 18 schools in Kalkudah area participated in those sessions. Civil Affairs Officer of the 232 Infantry Brigade and Commanding Officer, 12 SLNG closely supervised the programme.
Senior Officers, Officers, tutorial staff and parents were also associated with the arrangement.
