More than 500 Grade 5 students preparing for the 2023 scholarship examination were the recipients of Sets of model question papers, thanks to an Army initiative taken by 211 Infantry Brigade of the 21 Infantry Division in Anuradhapura Under the Security Force HQ - Wanni.
The project also included a free seminar for students thanks to the sponsorship, provided by Padaviya People’s Bank and Imashi Publications Limited at the request of the 211 Infantry Brigade. Brigadier I.N Kandanarachchi RSP, Commander of the 211 Infantry Brigade, as the chief guest graced the distribution and the seminar held at A/Buddangala Central College Padaviya on Saturday (9).
Present at the occasion were representatives from Imashi Publications, officials from Padaviya People’s Bank, Commanding Officer of the 9 Gajaba Regiment as well as dedicated Officers and Other Ranks who are serving in that area.
This programme exemplified the Sri Lanka Army's commitment to the future prospects and educational aspirations of deserving students.
Major General I.A.N.B Perera RWP USP ndu psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division gave his blessings to the project.
