General Officer Commanding Calls at 2 (V) SLSR Camp

The General Officer Commanding, 11 Infantry Division, Major General R.M.M Ranasinghe WWV RWP RSP, made a visit to the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Kandy on Tuesday (19 Sep).

The General Officer Commanding was warmly welcomed by Brigadier W.M.S.N Eragoda RWP RSP USP, Commander, 111 Infantry Brigade on arrival at the venue.

To mark his visit, a sapling was planted in the camp premises. Following the warm reception, he received a comprehensive briefing on the unit’s role, its tasks, and varied responsibilities. Afterwards, he had a look around the camp premises and inquired about facilities of the soldiers before he addressed the troops sharing his vision and motivation for the entire 11 Infantry Division.
