SLLI Colonel of the Regiment Continues His Camp Visits

Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Colonel of the Regiment, Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) continuing his familiarization visits reached the 3 SLLI camp, located in Periyamadu, Mannar on Tuesday (19 Sep).

The visiting Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Major H.M.A.H.B Herath WWV RWP RSP USP psc after he was greeted in a Guard Turnout salute at the entrance.

Afterwards, he listened to a comprehensive briefing conducted by the Commanding Officer of 3 SLLI. During the troop address, he emphasized the importance on discipline and commitment. Adding memories for the day, he planted a sapling in the premises and posed for a few photographs.

Prior to his departure, he penned down a few complimentary remarks in the visitors' book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks also took part in the day’s agenda.
