Inter Battalion Cricket Tournament - 2023 Held in Jaffna

The Inter Battalion Cricket Tournament, organized by the 523 Infantry Brigade of the 52 Infantry Division under the Security Force HQ-Jaffna got underway at 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Cricket ground in Allarai, Jaffna on Tuesday (22 August).

The General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division, Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc gave guidelines for its arrangement. 10 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Cricket Team became the champions beating 522 Infantry Brigade Cricket Team in the finals. Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc attended the final tournament as the Chief Guest. 12 cricket teams vied in the tournament.

Commander, 523 Infantry Brigade, Colonel M.B.L Perera RSP USP psc, Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment and Commanding Officer of 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present during the final leg of the event.
