Brigadier K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment assumed duties as the New General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 14 Infantry Division on 21 August 2023 at his office in the Divisional Headquarters in Colombo.
Staff Officers of the 14 Infantry Division warmly welcomed the newly-appointed GOC, Brigadier K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP on his arrival at the camp premises. Amidst religious observances, he left his signature symbolically for an official document to signify the acceptance of the new responsibility. Afterwards, the new GOC addressed the troops and briefed about his vision.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks also attended the days’ proceedings.
