Brigadier S.C Ekanayake RSP, Director, Directorate of Rehabilitation made a visit to the ‘Abhimansala - 1’ in Anuradhapura on 29 July 2023 with the intention of inquiring about the well-being of War Heroes under rehabilitation and recuperation after they sustained permanent injuries in the fight against LTTE terrorism before May 2009.
The visiting Director after interacting with those residents spoke to them and assured full co-operation of the Directorate of Rehabilitation to resolve any issues regarding their rehabilitation procedures.
He also gave away gift packs to those resident War Heroes and wished him good luck. The Commandant at ‘Abhimansala - 1' and several Senior Officers were associated with the day’s arrangements.
