22 Infantry Division troops of Security Forces-East listened to a Dhamma sermon, themed 'Ama Dora Vivara Viya,' delivered by Ven Balangoda Radha Thero during an arrangement, organized on Monday (July 17) at the Hindu Cultural Hall in Trincomalee.
Major General G.M.N Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division as one more segment of the spiritual programme, being held as per directions of the Army Chief gave guidance for its conduct.
More than 700 Tri-Service and Police personnel joined the occasion, meant for spiritual advancement. Senior Officers including the Commander and the Deputy Commander of the Eastern Naval Command, Infantry Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks listened to the preaching.
