SLSC Inter Regiment Athletic Meet Concludes at Anuradhapura

The 'Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Inter Regiment Athletic Meet - 2023', organized by the 4 SLSC at Anuradhapura was held at the Public Ground in Anuradhapura on July 18 and 19 with the participation of 90 athletes representing 11 SLSC Regiments.

During the meet, athletes showcased exceptional skills and 4 SLSC secured the Championship scoring 210 points.

Brigadier K.M.G Bandaranayake USP psc, Commander of the 561 Infantry Brigade graced the final day presentation ceremony as the chief guest along with Lieutenant Colonel R.D.R.M Fernando RSP USP psc, Commanding Officer of 4 SLSC who also joined the award of certificates and awards to the achievers.

Notable performances of the meet are as follows:

Champions (210 points) - 4 SLSC

1st Runner up (105 points) - 1 SLSC

2nd Runner up (91 points) - 7 SLSC

Best Athlete (Male) - Lance Corporal D.H.C Chandrasena of 4 SLSC

Best Athlete (Female) - Signal Woman T.J Hayman of 6 SLSC
