681 Infantry Brigade's Champion Trophy Cricket Tournament Win Goes to 6 GW

Intending to develop friendship and comradeship among the battalions and promote sportsmanship of soldiers, the 681 Infantry Brigade HQ of the 68 Infantry Division on Friday (14 July) organized the 681 Infantry Brigade Champion Cricket Tournament at 681 Infantry Brigade Headquarters playground in Udayarkattu on a conceptual direction of the Commander 681 Infantry Brigade.

Teams from 681 Infantry Brigade, 6 Gemunu Watch and 9 Sri Lanka National Guard participated in the tournament. In the finals after a close tussle 6 Gemunu Watch team won the Championship pushing the 681 Infantry Brigade team to be the runners-up.

General Officer Commanding, 68 Infantry Division, Major General S. Kasthurimudali RSP ndc psc graced the awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks witnessed the final matches.
