The Sri Lankan Athletic team vying in the 400 x 4 Mixed Relay race in the Asian Athletics Championship (AAC) - 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday (15 July) won a Silver medal for the country.
Out of 4 runners in the team, 3 members were from the Sri Lanka Army including Sergeant H.K.K Kumarage of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Bombardier S.A Dharshana of Sri Lanka Artillery and Corporal N. Ramanayake of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.
The team clocked 3:15.41 seconds and finished the race against their next rivals.
