Brigadier P.C.L Gunawardana RWP RSP psc of the Gemunu Watch assumed office as the New Director Directorate of Research Concept and Doctrine at the Army Headquarters on Thursday (6 July) during a brief ceremony.
Upon arrival at the new office, the newly-appointed Director left his signature for an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new office. Prior to this new appointment, he served as the Brigadier General Staff at 1 Corps Headquarters.
Staff Officers of the Directorate and Other Ranks joined the occasion. He succeeds Major General G.A.W Senevireathne USP psc who has now been appointed as the General Officer Commanding, 54 Infantry Division in Mannar.
