2nd Quarter Officers’ Training Session, Held at RHQ SLCMP

The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Headquarters (SLCMP) HQ conducted its second quarter Officers’ Training Day at Regimental HQ in Polhengoda on 23 June with the participation of more than 75 SLCMP Officers.

To be in line with instructions given by SLCMP Colonel Commandant and Provost Marshal, Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the training session was organized by Officers in the 3 SLCMP.

The day’s programme included physical training sessions and was followed by individual and group presentations. Those presentations were conducted with the aim of enhancing presentation and communication skills of SLCMP officers.

In the evening, the Diners’ Club event got underway at the Regimental Officers’ Mess. Ms. Lakhsmi Jayawardrana, a graduate in Global Nutrition and Health and Specialized in Public Health, Nutrition and Food Policy delivered the comprehensive lecture on ‘Fundamentals of Nutrition and Health’ for the wellbeing of military personnel during the Diners’ Club session.

The Colonel Commandant of SLCMP, Council Members of SLCMP, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the training programme.
