Officers at the Army Headquarters participated in a valuable educational lecture session on ‘Reduction of Audit Errors’ at the Army Headquarters premises on Wednesday (June 14) in the presence of Major General C.D Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Army.
Major General W.B.S.M Abeysekara RSP USP, Director General Budget & Finance Management, arranged the educative awareness session in line with the directions, given by Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army.
Accordingly, Mr S.T.B Rathnayake, Deputy Auditor General of the National Audit Office conducted the programme. Major General W.A.S.S Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, Principal Staff Officers at the Army Headquarters, Senior Officers, and Officers were also associated with the session.
In addition, a large audience joined the programme from various Army establishments through Zoom technology.
