To coincide with the ‘World Environment Day’, 23 Gemunu Watch under command to the 55 Infantry Division, planted 25 coconut saplings near the camp premises in Muhamalai area on Monday (5).
This Battalion has earlier also planted a considerable number of shady plants such as Kumbuk, Kohomba, along the main road in the same area.
The Overlooking Commanding Officer, Major R.M.M.B Sampath RWP RSP, Officers and Other Ranks participated in this programme.
