Private B.D.D.T Gunethilaka of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps representing Sri Lanka secured a bronze medal in the Badminton (men’s double event in the International Challenge Badminton Tournament, held in Maldives from 05 to 10 June. His partner was Mr Viren Nettasinghe.
The World Badminton Federation organized the tournament with the sponsorship of Li-Ning, a Chinese sportswear and sports equipment company. This is one of the International Badminton Tournament series staged in the world accessing players for world rankings.
