Army Rowers Dominate Defence Services Rowing Championship

The annual Defence Services Rowing Championship, organized this year by Sri Lanka Air Force continued for three days (Mar 22 - 24) in Diyawannawa Lake with the participation of a large number of players representing Tri-Services.

During the tournament, Army Men and Women both teams clinched championship trophies achieving 06 and 04 medals respectively. Army Men’s Rowing team achieved 03 Gold medals, 01 Silver medal and 02 Bronze medals while Army lady rowers got 03 Gold medals and 01 Bronze medal.

Sri Lanka Navy Rowers secured the runners-up slots in both men's and women's categories while Air Force ended up in the third place.
