GW Regimental HQ Bid Farewell to their Outgoing Two Senior Officers

The farewell ceremony for retiring Brigadier P.D.A.G. Senadeera USP and Brigadier M.K.S.S.P Jayasinghe RWP RSP of Gemunu Watch (GW) was held at the GW Regimental Centre on 08 April 2023. Both of them after completing over 33 years of successful service in the Sri Lanka Army were to retire shortly.

The Regimental Centre welcomed both Chief Guests and invited them to review separate Guard Turnouts at the entrance. Subsequently, the ceremonial commemoration for fallen war heroes at the monument took place. Next, troops of the GW presented the separate parades to both retiring senior officers.

Subsequently, a formal farewell dinner followed at GW Regimental HQ Officers’ Mess.

On 09 April 2023 Officers and Other Ranks honoured them in a street line farewell as their vehicle began to move out of the premises.

All Officers and Other Ranks of the Regimental Centre extended their heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing Highlanders for their commitment and dedication to the Gemunu Watch. They wished them a healthy, wealthy, peaceful, and prosperous life.
