The ‘Single Three Hill Climb - 2023’, held during 10 - 11 April 2023 in Nuwara Eliya Hill Climb Motor Track enabled participants of the Sri Lanka Army Motor Sports Committee to win several trophies, beating a number of riders, drawn from many corners of the island.
Following riders shone in the three events as follows:
Corporal B.I Maduranga of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police secured the 1st and 2nd places in SM – Super Motard 250/450 cc open Event and Sport touring 600cc open event respectfully.
Lance Corporal U.K.J.A Kumara of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps won the 2nd place in the Group N cars up to one Make Ford Laser/Mazda 1300cc.
Private L.B.D Senevirathne of Gajaba Regiment secured the 3rd place in the SM - Super Motard 250/450cc open event.
The Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Motor Sports Committee provided necessary facilities, guidance and inspiration to the riders.
