SLCMP Troops Clean Wellawatte Coastal Area on World’s Environment Day

To coincide with the World’s Environment Day (June 05) Regimental Centre troops of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) launched a beach cleaning programme along Wellawatte coastal area with the participation of 02 Officers and 47 Other Ranks.

The programme that motivated the general public on the importance of the conservation of marine resources was arranged under the guidance of Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the SLCMP Colonel Commandant.
