Central Commander Pins Prefect Badges

At the request of the Principal at Isipathana College, Colombo, Major General W R M M Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces - Central attended the investiture ceremony of school prefect badges on students as the Chief Guest on Monday (3 April).

Principal and staff of the college warmly welcomed Major General W R M M Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu on his arrival at college premises amid a Guard of Honor salute extended to the visiting Major General W R M M Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu by school cadets before he joined awarding prefect badges.

During his brief address, he highlighted leadership traits and urged the students to be patriotic and disciplined. He also recalled memories of his school days and wished good luck to the college in its future endeavours.

Members of the Old Boys’ Association and students were associated with the day’s event.
