A contingent of Army personnel, inclusive of Officers and Other Ranks of the 15 Drone Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery and 14 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment provided manpower for planting of 100 ‘Kumbuk’ saplings inside the Panaluwa Army Firing Range on 03 May 2023 in response to a request made by officials of the Sheraton Hotel, Colombo.
The project was sponsored by officials of Sheraton Hotel in Colombo in line with their annual tree-planting day.
Meanwhile, Brigade Commander 142 Infantry Brigade and respective Commanding Officers guided the Army’s contribution to this project with the approval of the Commander, Security Forces - West.
