On a concept of Major General R.K.N.C Jayawardane RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division Headquarters of the SFHQ-Mullaittivu and on the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu launched an educational project by organizing a seminar for G.C.E (O/L) candidates in the general area of Pooneryn at Pooneryn Maha Vidyalaya, Kilinochchi during 13 -14 May 2023.
Lectures in the seminar were delivered by a panel of experts. The General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division, Commander, 661 Brigade, Colonel K.G.M.N Senevirathne USP, Commander, 663 Infantry Brigade, Colonel H.W.M.C. Fernando RSP, Senior Officers, Officers, Mr. S.R Balachandra, Principal of Pooneryn Maha Vidyalaya, Mrs. Sivanandan Parandan, Principal of Jayapuran Naha Vidyalaya and teachers were among those who showed up at the inauguration of the seminar.
Over 244 students in the area attended the seminar and all the participating students were provided with free tutorials, booklets, print materials with the cooperation extended by All Ranks in the 66 Infantry Division.
