Troops of the Security Force Headquarters West (SFHQ -West) on 12 January listened to a timely important lecture on ‘Maintenance of Law and Order’ delivered by a Senior Police Officer at the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Lecture Hall at Panagoda Army Cantonment.
On the request made by the Commander, SHFQ - West, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (Crime and Traffic), Mr Kamal Silva conducted the lecture and educated the troops on the subject area with special focus on Sri Lanka's Legal System, Judicial Procedure, Classification of Law, Classification of Law, Court Hierarchy, Coordination between the Army and the Police under the existing Legal framework during field operations. The lecture followed a question- answer session.
A total of 360 Army troops, including Officers of the Security Forces- West were present during the lecture.
