Jaffna Commander has Audience with Religious Dignitaries in Jaffna

Major General Swarna Bothota, the newly-appointed, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) with the intention of receiving blessings of all religious faiths after his recent assumption of office paid homage to Nagadeepa Temple, Naga Viharaya Temple, Bishop of Jaffna and Nallur Kovil on 27 December.

The Jaffna Commander met the Chief Incumbent at Nagadeepa Purana Raja Maha Viharaya, Ven. Nawadagala Padumakitti Tissa Thera, Chief Incumbent at Naga Viharaya Temple Ven Meegahajandure Siriwimala Thero, Bishop of Jaffna His Lordship Right Reverend Dr. Justin B Gnanapragasam, Chief Priest at Nallur Kovil, Kurukkal, Srila Sri Somasunthra Ganasampantha Paramacharya Swamigal in Jaffna.

The General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division Major General Wajira Welagedara and Senior Staff Officers were associated with the Commander during the visits.
