Internal Audit Directorate Educates Troops on Accounting & Auditing

The Army Directorate of Internal Audit (Dte of IA) conducted a series of lectures during the last few months at various military establishments with a view to educating Army personnel on Governmental and Non-governmental accounting procedures.

Major L.R.M.C.D Rathnayake, Staff Officer II, Directorate of Internal Audit, recently delivered lectures to 106 troops of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regimental Headquarters at Panagoda. Up to now, over 1330 officers and 5169 Other Ranks of the Army have been educated on these lines since January 2022.

The project was launched on the directions of Major General Shiran Abeysekara, Director General Financial Management and Brigadier Malan de Zoysa, Director, Internal Audit.
