English Language Course for Other Ranks in Jaffna Ends

The one-month long English Course, conducted by Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna for 31 Other Ranks under the directions of the Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna during 25 October 2022 to 28 November 2022 ended on Monday (28) after a brief certificate-awarding ceremony.

Corporal M. Senarathna of 4 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps was adjudged the 1st in Order of Merits while Corporal L. Jayawardhana and Lance Corporal Bandara secured the 2nd and 3rd places in the course respectively representing 1 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps serving the Army Base Hospital in Palaly. Captain J.M.J.D Ranasinghe acted as the Chief Instructor for the Course.

The conclusion of the course took place following a colorful variety show, presented by students. The Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna, Brigadier Dhammika Karunapala graced the certificate awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Staff Officers of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna, and Commanding Officers of respective Battalions and troops witnessed the concluding ceremony.
