Troops Clean up Primary School Premises with Parents

A group of parents and students joined hands with troops of the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) in order to carry out a 'Shramadana' campaign to clean up the school premises and its surroundings at Lumbini Primary School in Welikanda on Thursday (13) in the wake of looming Dengue outbreak.

Major General Lal Chandrasiri, Commander, Security Forces- East instructed the Chief Coordinator for Civil Affairs at SFHQ-E, Colonel Ushan Gunawardana to make the project a success with the support of the troops.
