The Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) which has already initiated fertilizer production process in order to promote ‘Green Agriculture’ in the peninsula as per directions of General Shavendra Silva, Head of the Green Agriculture Operation Center (GAOC), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army has formally begun its production process.
Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna on Saturday (8) visited the production site and inspected it.
He visited the SFHQ-J-run Organic Fertilizer Production site at first and then other sites and discussed ways and means of improving those processes. Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Sasika Perera and Senior Officers of the SFHQ-J joined him during visit.
