New Director Recruiting Assumes Office

Brigadier E.A.P Ediriweera of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) recently assumed office as the Director in the Directorate of Recruiting at his office in Kohuwala.

The newly-appointed Director left his signature for an official document symbolizing the acceptance of the new office amid religious observances. Prior to this new appointment, he served as the Commander, 112 Brigade.

Staff Officers at the Directorate and Other Ranks joined the occasion. He succeeds Brigadier Janaka Wimalarathne who has now been appointed as the Center Commandant, Gemunu Watch Regiment.
