The final segment of religious programmes that blessed the newly-raised 1 Corps was conducted at ‘Kirivehera’ & Kataragama Devala precincts on 27 November 2021.
Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, Commander 1 Corps, attended as the Chief Guest, along with a cross-section of Officers and Other Ranks of the Corps.
Troops of the 5th Battalion Gamunu Watch at Buttala supported the arrangements.
