The Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Training Centre recently conducted a 'Leadership Workshop' for Senior Non Commissioned Officers of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps during 27-28 September 2021.
Veteran Instructors Warrant Officer, I.K.R.A Senavirathna (Rtd) and Warrant Officer I Waduge Piyarathna (Rtd) also delivered lectures on discipline, behavioral etiquettes at a function, personality developmentand man-management, etc respectively.
Brigadier Ranjan Wijedasa conducted the subsequent Diners Club in order to enhance the knowledge on ‘Present Role of the SNCOs’. A total of 98 Senior Non Commission Officers participated in the aforesaid workshop.
During the opening and closing addresses, Major General Swarna Bothota,Commandant OCDC Buttala and Colonel Commandant of the SLAC, Commander Armoured Brigade, Brigadier Anil Peiris highlighted the scope and timely importance of the workshop where many guidelines were given to develop and enhance their career in order to face future challenges.
