SLSC Regimental HQ Felicitates Newly-Promoted Senior Officer

The Corps of Sri Lanka Signals Corps (SLSC) hosted a simple felicitation ceremony on Tuesday (10) to greet its newly- promoted Major General Lalith Herath, Commander, Signal Brigade at the SLSC Regimental Centre premises, adhering to all health regulations on COVID 19.

Starting the day’s programme, SLSC Regimental Centre Commandant, Brigadier Ashoka Gunasekara welcomed the day's protagonist on arrival at the main entrance where a Guard Turnout saluted him. Then he paid floral tributes to the SLSC Monument in memory of fallen SLSC War Heroes before a Guard of Honour saluted was presented.

Later on, he was invited to plant a sapling of sandalwood near the main entrance as a symbol of his visit and the promotion.

Then, he posed for group photographs with Signal Officers before he joined refreshments.
