A workshop for Officers and Other Ranks in under command establishments of the Security Forces-West on eradication of drug abuses was held on Monday (2) at the Army Gymnasium in Panagoda.
This workshop, inaugurated under the direction of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and the Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak was held under the supervision of the Major General Sujeewa Senerath Yapa, Commander, Security Forces-West.
375 troops including Officers attend this valuable one day workshop by adhering to Health Guidelines.
The programme was conducted by Mr Kosala Thotawatta, Director of Colombo District Drug Prevention Project in the schools.
