The newly-appointed Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku paid homage to the ancient Sri Nagadeepa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya and the Jaffna Nallur Temple and received blessings on Wednesday (21), together with a few Senior Officers.
On the same day (21), Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku paid a courtesy call on the District Secretary for Jaffna, Mr Kanapathipillai Maheshan.
During the meeting, several important matters, such as COVID - 19 coordination and control operations, progress of Civil - Military coordination and reconciliation in Jaffna peninsula were discussed. General Officer Commanding 51 Division, Brigadier General Staff and Commander 512 Brigade were also present during the discussions.
