SLCMP Colonel Commandant Makes Courtesy Visits

The Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) Major General Ranjan Premalal, recently made courtesy visits to the 3 SLCMP at Galkulama, 4 SLCMP at Kankasanthurai, 5 SLCMP at Kilinochchi and 6 SLCMP camp at Mullaittivu, prior to his retirement.

Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officers of respective Units and greeted to ceremonial proceedings. The events included planting of saplings, all rank tea and troop addresses by the visiting Colonel Commandant.

During the addresses, the Colonel Commandant admired the Provost troops’ contribution to maintain the military discipline in the Army and their commitment to other Military Police duties. Commanding Officers of the Units Lieutenant Colonel R.R.P Perera - Commanding Officer 4 SLCMP, Lieutenant Colonel WMTGAP Wijekoon Commanding Officer 3 SLCMP, Lieutenant Colonel PDI Perera - Commanding Officer 5 SLCMP, Lieutenant Colonel JS Jayathilake USP - Commanding Officer 6 SLCMP, Senior Officers and Other Ranks of particular Units participated in the events from their respective places. Health guidelines were strictly followed during those events.
