An expatriate family, domiciled in New South Wales, Australia on Wednesday (7) gifted an F&P Airvo 2 High Flow Oxygen Therapy device, worth about Rs 1 m to the COVID-19 Unit at the Colombo Army Hospital.
Dr Satheeka Kamaladasa, together with her family and friends in New South Wales, Australia considering the need of this vital medical need handed it over to Brigadier Dr Dilrukshi Munasinghe, Consultant Radiologist at the Army Hospital and Colonel Dr Champika Abeysinghe, Consultant Anaesthetist at the Army Hospital.
Accepting the timely gift, recipients on behalf of the Commander of the Army thanked the donors for their thoughtfulness and concern for COVID-19 patients in the hospital.
