The Army School of Logistics (ASL) at Trincomalee warmly received the Defence Adviser (DA) at Bangladesh High Commission, Commodore M Shafiul Bari when he made an official visit to the ASL in order to find out the well-being of the ASL’s Student Officer from Bangladesh who is currently following the Logistics Staff Course No 07.
The Commandant ASL, Brigadier Ranjan Jayasekara welcomed the envoy and briefly educated him on training modules and facilities at the ASL before the Student Officer interacted with their High Commission’s Defence Adviser.
The visiting Defence Attaché was provided a comprehensive presentation by the Chief Instructor, Colonel Sanjeewa Rangika on training methodologies. A mango sapling was also planted by the DA to mark the visit re-endorsing good relations between both countries.
Prior to his departure, the mementos were also exchanged between the Commandant ASL and the DA as tokens of appreciation. Members of the Faculty, Members of the Permanent Staff, foreign Student Officers and the Sponsor Student Officers of LSC No 07 participated in a formal lunch that followed.
