Pensioners to be Provided Transport Facility to Draw Pensions During 10-11 June

Respective island-wide Security Force Headquarters, Divisions, Brigades, Navy and Air Force establishments as in previous lockdowns would provide bus transport facility to all retirees who want to reach banks to draw their pensions during 10-11 June 2021 upon instructions to this effect were given by General Shavendra Silva, Head, NOCPCO, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army.

Accordingly, District/Divisional Secretariats in close coordination with relevant Grama Seva officials would liaise with military authorities in those areas. The project is to be manned by tri services following a Presidential directive given to the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army.

All pensioners are therefore requested to contact respective Grama Seva (GS) officials and use this facility.
