Yala Palatupana-based ' Laya Safari' beach resort of the Army-managed Laya Chain has been rated a winner in the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award - 2021 and Traveller Review Award - 2021 by Booking.com for the 2nd consecutive year respectively for both 2020 and 2021.
The 'Travellers' Choice Award' celebrates "hotels that consistently deliver fantastic experiences to travellers around the globe, having earned positive traveller reviews and ratings over the past year" and went on to announce that "Laya Safari stood out by providing great service and experiences to the guests in this particularly challenging year."
The 'Traveller Review Award - 2021' of Booking.com meanwhile claims that the "Laya Safari rose to the occasion and earned scores of exceptional reviews from guests consistently over the last year and it shows just how much Laya Safari guests appreciate everything the resort does for them. Along with so many other challenges, 2020 was a year with limited opportunities for travel. That meant that the trips your guests managed to take mattered more to them than ever as Laya Safari went on offering travellers outstanding hospitality," states the awarding agency.

'Laya Safari' throughout the past few years with positive comments from visitors despite the recent downturn of the tourism industry received many awards and appreciative laurels from Tripadvisor and Booking.com which are the most leading OTA platforms that global travellers seek for their holiday destinations, based on reviews, scores and ratings.
